STEAM CHICKEN LEG ROAST .
recipe for steam chicken leg roast:
Ingredients:
4 chicken leg quarters (thigh and drumstick attached)
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt to taste
Instructions:
Clean the chicken leg quarters and pat them dry with paper towels.
In a bowl, mix together olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, black pepper, paprika, dried thyme, and salt to make a marinade.
Rub the marinade all over the chicken leg quarters, making sure they are evenly coated. You can also make small cuts in the chicken to allow the marinade to penetrate better.
Place the marinated chicken leg quarters in a shallow dish or a ziplock bag. Cover or seal the bag and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
When you're ready to cook, prepare your steamer. Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil. Place a steamer basket or rack in the pot.
Arrange the marinated chicken leg quarters on the steamer basket or rack, making sure they are not overcrowded.
Cover the pot with a lid and steam the chicken leg quarters for about 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until the chicken is cooked through and the juices run clear when pierced with a knife. Ensure to check the water level periodically and add more water if necessary.
Once the chicken is cooked, carefully remove it from the steamer and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
Serve the steam chicken leg roast with your favorite side dishes or salads.
This recipe will give you tender, flavorful chicken leg quarters with a delicious aroma from the marinade. Adjust the seasonings according to your taste preferences. Enjoy your steam chicken leg roast!
