Simple recipe for making green tea:

  1. Boil the water in a kettle or pot. Allow it to cool for a minute or two after boiling, as pouring boiling water directly onto green tea leaves can sometimes result in a bitter taste.
  2. Place the green tea leaves into a teapot or a cup suitable for brewing tea.
  3. Pour the hot water over the tea leaves. Use a strainer if your teapot doesn't have a built-in one.
  4. Let the tea steep for about 2-3 minutes. Steeping time can vary depending on your preference for strength.
  5. After steeping, strain the tea leaves out if necessary and pour the tea into your cup.
  6. You can enjoy the green tea as is, or you can add sweeteners like honey or sugar, and a slice of lemon if desired.
