 Grilled Chicken Skewers

Grilled chicken skewers are a delicious and easy-to-make dish, perfect for backyard barbecues or casual dinners. Here's a simple recipe:

Ingredients:

1.5 lbs (about 700g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
Wooden skewers, soaked in water for at least 30 minutes
Optional: lemon wedges and chopped fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions:

In a bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, ground cumin, ground coriander, ground turmeric, black pepper, and salt. Mix well to create a marinade.

Add the bite-sized chicken pieces to the marinade and toss until they are evenly coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the soaked wooden skewers, leaving a little space between each piece to ensure even cooking.

Place the chicken skewers on the preheated grill and cook for 6-8 minutes per side, or until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.

Once the chicken is cooked, remove the skewers from the grill and transfer them to a serving platter.

Optional: Garnish the grilled chicken skewers with lemon wedges and chopped fresh herbs, such as parsley or cilantro, for added flavor and presentation.

Serve the chicken skewers hot, either as an appetizer or as a main dish, alongside your favorite sides like rice, salad, or grilled vegetables.

Enjoy your tasty grilled chicken skewers! They're sure to be a hit at your next barbecue or gathering.
