old fashioned hamburger recipe
Classic Hamburger.
Ingredients:
1 pound (450g) ground beef (preferably 80% lean, 20% fat)
Salt and pepper to taste
4 hamburger buns
Toppings of your choice (lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, pickles, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, etc.)
Instructions:
Prepare the Patties:
Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions.
Gently shape each portion into a patty, being careful not to overwork the meat. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Cook the Patties:
Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat.
Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare to medium doneness, or adjust the time according to your preference.
Toast the Buns:
Slice the hamburger buns and toast them lightly on the grill or in a toaster. This step adds a nice crunch to the buns.
Assemble the Hamburgers:
Place the cooked patties on the bottom half of each bun.
Add your desired toppings. You can customize with lettuce, tomato slices, onions, cheese, pickles, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, or any other favorite condiments.
Finish and Serve:
Top with the other half of the bun.
Serve immediately, and enjoy your classic hamburgers!
Feel free to customize the recipe based on your taste preferences. You can also experiment with different types of ground meat or create your own special sauce for added flavor. Enjoy your homemade classic hamburgers!
